This is one of my early on infrared photography experiments. It was probably the second time I went out shooting IR after I got my first Hoya R72 filter. Trying different ISO’s and exposure lengths, I finally achieved a decent enough exposure to work with. I chose a super long exposure at a low ISO for this shot, just to see what effect I would get with the movement of the branches in the wind. It turned out to look like trees full of fluffy cotton and the light was just right to produce the dark dramatic sky.
I remember how much i wanted to shoot IR when I seen your first pics they were so beautiful and i bought the IR filter but could never get it right.
Miss our adventures.
Love to all
